Coney Island

Coney Island is a place where individuality seems to exist without apology. People of different cultures, generations, and backgrounds share the same stretch of beach and boardwalk, each inhabiting the space in their own way. I’m drawn to its contrasts: celebration and solitude, chaos and stillness, eccentricity and everyday life. Through these photographs, I explore the diversity, freedom, and sense of community that make Coney Island feel unlike anywhere else in New York.
